Key Responsibilities:
- You will be supporting the Production environment which include Production Issues, Move to Production and Post Prod Testing.
- Help Production Manager in assessing latest builds in staging before moving them to production (act as a Production Gatekeeper).
- On standby during deployment and on call during Production Issue Support.
- Day to day task will include checks on each of the different products of Singlife and every functionality that comes with it (Purchase journey, Redemption, Cancellation, Claims etc).
- Must be knowledgeable about the overall processes/functionalities of both Model 1 and Model 2 (on-going build) systems which will be covered during on-boarding.
- The QA Engineer’s responsibilities are derived from the following principles:
- Focus on quality improvement.
- Assure a suitable practice for the software development.
- Black box testing or white box testing.
- Constant monitoring.
- Include Risk Management with the Quality Affirmation.
- Minimize the cost of maintenance.
- Formulate the requirements.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a technical background with at least 5 years of work experience in one or more IT areas including but not limited to:
- Quality Assurance engineering.
- Business analysis.
- REST API experience (good to have).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Deep analytical skills.
- Project and resource management skills.
- Work collaboratively.
- Influence and Negotiate.
