On September 25 and 26, Weave Solutions and sister company CPI headed to Val D’Orcia in Silang, Cavite, for a weekend of team building. The setting, Tuscan-inspired villas tucked beneath a canopy of old trees, made for a welcome change from the usual workday.
Rain held through most of the first day, but it didn’t hold back the team. Merienda turned into a shared plate of pancit and puto bumbong, and the afternoon turned into hours of conversation and karaoke. When the courts opened up for badminton and pickleball, people paired off across departments and across both companies, with a few first-timers picking up a racket for the first time alongside more seasoned players.
A buffet dinner from Taste and Tell carried the group into the evening, followed by a round of programs the HR team had built to get people talking, laughing, and competing side by side. For those who preferred a quieter night, there was more karaoke, a few games of chess, and stories swapped across the tables.
The second day brought clear skies. The team made the most of them, splitting time between the pool and, once again, the karaoke machine, before the weekend wrapped up over lunch.
